Patrick Point

Patrick Point (50˚06'00" 123˚48'00" SW end of Queens Reach, Jervis Inlet, NW of Vancouver). This feature honours Prince Arthur William Patrick Albert, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (1850–1942), third son of Queen Victoria. He had a long career in the British Army and was appointed a field marshal in 1902, cdr-in-chief in Ireland, 1900–1904, inspector-gen of the forces, 1904–7, and Canada’s 10th gov gen, 1911–16.
