Patrician Cove


Patrician Cove (50˚43'30" 127˚25'00" NW side of Beaver Hbr, just E of Port Hardy, NE end of Vancouver I). Named about 1983 after the motor yacht Patrician, which had burned and sunk there the previous year. Jon Bowman and Ann Kenyon of Seattle, the owners of the 26-m, 177-tonne fibreglass vessel, had anchored in the cove on their way home from a two-month cruise in BC and Alaska.
