Pasley Island


Pasley Island (49˚22'00" 123˚27'00" W of Collingwood Channel and Bowen I, Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). Adm Sir Thomas Pasley (1734–1808) played a distinguished role in the English Channel battle known as the Glorious First of June. In 1860, Capt George Richards of the survey vessel Plumper named many features in Howe Sd after participants in this 1794 naval victory over the French.
