Parker Rocks

Parker Rocks (53˚35'00" 130˚34'00" Approach to Griffin Hbr, NW end of Banks I, Hecate Str). Named for A Parker, who worked as a coal trimmer aboard the government survey vessel Lillooet in the early 1920s after returning from overseas service during WWI. (A trimmer made sure that coal was spread evenly in the ship’s holds, usually using just a shovel.)
