Ormidale Harbour


Ormidale Harbour (52˚12'00" 128˚08'00" N side of Campbell I, just N of Bella Bella). Lt Daniel Pender named this feature about 1867 after Robert Macfarlane, Lord Ormidale (1802–80), a Scottish judge. He was sheriff of Renfrewshire, 1853–62, and a judge of the court of session, Scotland’s supreme civil court, 1862–74. W
