Noot Shoal


Noot Shoal (53˚07'00" 130˚06'00" SW of SW end of Banks I). Named after John Noot (b about 1762), a native of Newton Bushel, Devon, who was a bosun’s mate aboard HMS Discovery on Capt George Vancouver’s 1791–95 expedition to the PNW.
