Neptune Bank


Neptune Bank (49˚18'00" 123˚03'00" E of Second Nar-rows, Vancouver Hbr). This bank, which has several shoals of less than 12 m, lies just off Neptune Bulk Terminals, N America’s largest bulk-loading terminal, located on the N shore of Vancouver Hbr. A navigational marker placed there in 1970 became so well known locally as the Neptune Bank buoy that this name was officially adopted by the Geographic Board of Canada in 1975.
