Montgomery Point


Montgomery Point (50˚28'00" 128˚01'00" E entrance to Forward Inlet, N side of Quatsino Sd, NW end of Vancouver I). Named in 1927 after Robert Elinton Montgomery, who acquired a Crown grant of land in the vicinity in 1908. This shadowy figure came to Quatsino in 1902, according to local historian Gwen Hansen, and bought land at Bergh Cove.
