McQuarrie Islets


McQuarrie Islets (49˚54'00" 127˚13'00" S end of Barrier Is, just S of Kyuquot Sd, off NW side of Vancouver I). This name was adopted in 1946 for H N McQuarrie, who, according to the records of the Canadian Hydrographic Assoc, participated in surveys of the W coast of Vancouver I (1930–36) and Rivers Inlet (1937) aboard CGS Lillooet and CGS William J Stewart.
