McKenzie Cove


McKenzie Cove (50˚54'00" 126˚35'00" N side of Kingcome Inlet, N of E end of Queen Charlotte Str). William George McKenzie (1899–1949) disappeared from his gillnetter, the Billy Mac, near this spot in 1949 and was presumed drowned. He was born at Kenora, Ont, came to Michel, BC, with his parents when he was two and went to school at Nanaimo, Merritt and Vancouver.
