McGee Point

McGee Point (52˚48'00" 131˚44'00" S side of Talunkwan I, off E side of Moresby I, QCI). Named by the hydrographic service in 1957 after H O McGee, who had an interest, together with Herbert Heming (see Heming Head), in the copper properties at the E end of Talunkwan I. It was McGee, apparently, who supervised the actual development work on these claims in the early 1900s.
