McClinton Bay


McClinton Bay (53˚39'00" 132˚35'00" W side of Masset Inlet, Graham I, QCI). QCI historian Kathleen Dalzell uncovered the following information about S R MacClinton, whose name was adopted—and apparently misspelled—for this feature in 1907. A civil engineer from Vancouver, he had located timber claims around Masset Inlet for the Graham Steamship, Coal & Lumber Co and then toured the area with company officials.
