Markle Inlet


Markle Inlet (53˚36'00" 129˚56'00" N of Markle Passage), Markle Island (53˚34'00" 129˚59'00" N side of Markle Passage), Markle Passage (53˚34'00" 129˚58'00" N and E of Sine I, N of Anger I, W side of Pitt I). Markle was the name of the engineer on the Ala, the vessel used in a coast triangulation survey of this region in 1921 by Alfred E Wright of the BC Lands Service.
