Malone Point


Malone Point (50˚33'00" 126˚13'00" SE side of E Cracroft I, Havannah Channel, N of Johnstone Str). Royal Marines Lt Anthony Malone served aboard HMS Havannah, under Capt Thomas Harvey, on the Pacific Station, 1855–59. He left the service as a maj in 1877 and was promoted to lt col, retired, in 1879. Nearby Mt Anthony on E Cracroft I is also named for him.
