Leggeat Point


Leggeat Point (53˚17'00" 129˚30'00" Entrance to Tuwartz Inlet, SE end of Pitt I). This feature was named in 1944 after Matthew Leggeat (1900–1965), a seaman and quartermaster aboard the W coast survey vessel William J Stewart in the early 1940s.
