Lancelot Inlet


Lancelot Inlet (50˚03'00" 124˚43'00" E of Gifford Peninsula and Malaspina Inlet, N of Powell R). Several names associated with Arthurian legend were adopted in this vicinity in 1945 (Galahad Point, Grail Point, etc). Sir Lancelot, secret lover of Queen Guinevere, was one of King Arthur’s knights of the Round Table, who vowed to search for the Holy Grail.
