Lady Douglas Island


Lady Douglas Island (52˚20'00" 128˚26'00" S of Dowager I, W side of Don Peninsula, NW of Bella Bella). After Lady Amelia Douglas (née Connolly), wife of Vancouver I gov Sir James Douglas. Several features in this vicinity were named for members of the Douglas family. See Douglas I.
