Kwuna Point


Kwuna Point (53˚13'00" 131˚59'00" N entrance to Alliford Bay, SE side of Skidegate Inlet, N side of Moresby I, QCI). This feature was originally named Alliford Point, in association with Alliford Bay, by regional hydrographer Philip Musgrave in the 1910s. A much older name, applied by Capt Thomas Sinclair of the HBC, who made a sketch map of Skidegate Inlet in 1832, was Point James.
