Kellsey Point


Kellsey Point (50˚22'00" 125˚09'00" W side of Stuart I, mouth of Bute Inlet, NE of Campbell R). Robert Kellsey Moore (1874–1964) was a pioneer resident of the district who pre-empted land at this point in 1913 and received a Crown grant there in 1924. Moore, who was known far and wide as Mr Kellsey, was listed in the 1919 BC Directory as a fisherman and rancher. He died at Esquimalt.
