John Parker Islands (48˚20'00" 123˚36'00" E side of Becher Bay, S tip of Vancouver I). John Parker (1828–1917), born in Kent, England, married Mary Ann Munn (1832–1900) about 1852 and came to Victoria the following year as an HBC employee aboard the supply ship Norman Morison. John and Mary Ann’s eldest daughter, Hannah (1853–1937, later Mrs Hannah Ball), was one of the first white children born at Ft Victoria.
