Joassa Channel


Joassa Channel (52˚10'00" 128˚19'00" Between Horsfall I and Dufferin I, W of Bella Bella). BC historian and mariner John Walbran named this narrow passage in 1902 after an ancient Heiltsuk First Nation village that was once located in Dundivan Inlet, near the northern entrance to Joassa Channel.
