Jagers Point


Jagers Point (52˚18'00" 127˚58'00" N end of Cunningham I, Johnson Channel, NE of Bella Bella). John Frederick Jagers (1851–98), born in Germany, was a prominent master mariner with the Canadian Pacific Navigation Co, 1888–98. He arrived at Victoria in 1878 and over the course of his career had command of many well-known vessels, including the Beaver, Barbara Boscowitz, Princess Louise, Yosemite and R P Rithet.
