Hyde Point


Hyde Point (52˚22'00" 128˚21'00" N end of Lake I, S part of Mathieson Channel, NW of Bella Bella). Named in 1929 for Julia Elizabeth Hyde, who married BC colonial politician and administrator Joseph William Trutch. See Lady Trutch Passage and Trutch I for further biographical details.
