Hospital Bay


Hospital Bay (49˚38'00" 124˚02'00" N side of Pender Hbr, NW of Vancouver). St Mary’s Hospital, a 12-bed facility run by the Anglican Church’s Columbia Coast Mission, was established at this location in 1930. It eventually expanded to include a chapel, a staff residence and a collection of cottages for the aged but was closed in 1964 when a new St Mary’s was opened in Sechelt.
