Horseshoe Bay


Horseshoe Bay (49˚23'00" 123˚16'00" E side of Howe Sd, just NW of Vancouver). This name, which is a simple description of the shape of the bay, was officially adopted in 1929 but has been noted on documents since at least 1892. The adjacent community got its start in 1909 when the PGE was being surveyed.
