Hopkins Landing (49˚26'00" 123˚29'00" On the W side of Howe Sd, SW of Gambier I, NW of Vancouver). George Henderson Hopkins (1853–1931), a native of Ireland, worked as a marine engineer for the British India Steam Navigation Co before becoming a partner in a Monmouthshire engineering firm.
