Hood Point


Hood Point (49˚25'00" 123˚19'00" NE tip of Bowen I, Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). Adm Sir Alexander Hood (1727–1814), later Viscount Bridport, was a member of a famous British naval family. He was cdr of the royal yacht Katherine for many years, treasurer of Greenwich Hospital and an MP, 1784–96.
