Hole in the Wall (50˚19'00" 125˚10'00" Between Sonora I and Maurelle I, N end of Str of Georgia). The name of this channel may not be derived, as one might expect, from the appearance of its narrow, steep-walled, western entrance, where currents can reach 12 knots (22 km/h) on the flood.
