Hird Point


Hird Point (52˚34'00" 128˚15'00" E side of Mathieson Channel, N of Bella Bella). Named in 1948 after the 1st mate of CGS Parry, a small vessel used by the hydrographic service on the W coast, 1945–67, mainly for tidal and current surveys.
