Heriot Bay


Heriot Bay (50˚06'00" 125˚13'00" E side of Quadra I, N end of Str of Georgia), Heriot Island (50˚07'00" 125˚13'00" Just N of Heriot Bay). Named in 1862 by Capt George Richards after Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot (1818–81), a descendant of the 6th Earl of Lauderdale.
