Hazel Island


Hazel Island (51˚21'00" 127˚31'00" N side of Boswell Inlet, E of Smith Sd and Queen Charlotte Sd), Hazel Point (54˚07'00" 130˚14'00" S side of Smith I, S of Prince Rupert). Hazel Boswell was a daughter of Que harbour engineer St George Boswell and a granddaughter of BC lt gov Sir Henri-Gustave Joly de Lotbinière. See Boswell Inlet. Capt John Walbran named Hazel Point in 1901 and Hazel I in 1903.
