Haynes Rocks


Haynes Rocks (52˚27'00" 129˚01'00" Off SW side of Aristazabal I). Sapper William Haynes (1835–1920), born in Kent, was a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He arrived at Victoria in 1859 with his wife, Fanny (1840–1931, née Miller), their son and the main contingent of men aboard the Thames City.
