Hall Island


Hall Island (48˚59'00" 123˚36'00" Trincomali Channel, E of Kuper I, Gulf Is). Probably named after Richard Hall (1877–1959) and his brothers Charles and Reginald, members of an affluent Cheshire family, who bought James I in the early 1900s. Richard, an educated agriculturalist, first settled in Sask and then migrated to Thetis I in search of a milder climate.
