Green Cove

Green Cove (48˚59'00" 124˚59'00" E side of Uchucklesit Inlet, N side of Alberni Inlet, Vancouver I). This feature was formerly known as Elhlateese Cove, meaning “further down the beach,” after the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nation village located at the head of Uchucklesit Inlet. The well-established local name of Green Cove was adopted in 1968.
