Godkin Point


Godkin Point (50˚54'00" 127˚56'00" E entrance to Bull Hbr, Hope I, off N end of Vancouver I). Norman Godkin and his wife, Alice, were early pioneers in the Port Hardy area of N Vancouver I. Their daughter Eileen Excene Godkin (1903–83) married Jepther James Skinner (1868–1934) at Shushartie in 1921 (see Jepther Point). The couple operated the Shushartie Bay Trading Post.
