Gibsons


Gibsons (49˚24'00" 123˚30'00" W entrance to Howe Sd, NW of Vancouver). Retired RN officer George William Gibson (1829–1913) immigrated to Ont in 1878 and became a market gardener. He moved W with other family members and pre-empted land at this location in 1887.
