Gibson Cove


Gibson Cove (49˚23'00" 125˚56'00" E side of Herbert Inlet, Clayoquot Sd, W side of Vancouver I). William Fullerton Gibson (1869–1933) worked his way to BC as a carpenter and sawmill operator, and married Julia Earson Clark (1873–1964) at Vancouver in 1901. He was a gold miner during the Klondike rush, then worked at Vancouver’s Hastings sawmill.
