Gibbons Point


Gibbons Point (53˚33'00" 130˚06'00" SW side of Wright I, Principe Channel, between Banks I and Pitt I). Flight Lt Noel James Gibbons, DFC, was killed in action Oct 22, 1944, aged 23, and is buried at Choloy War Cemetery in France. A talented athlete, he was born at Grande Prairie, Alberta, and grew up in W Vancouver.
