Fawcett Point


Fawcett Point (53˚05'00" 129˚17'00" S end of Gil I, between Pitt I and Princess Royal I). Edgar Fawcett (1847–1923) was born at Sydney, Australia, and arrived in Victoria, via San Francisco, about 1859 with his family. He worked in the family upholstery business at first but was later employed by the customs office, 1882–1910.
