Falls River


Falls River (53˚49'00" 128˚31'00" Flows NE into Kildala Arm, E side of Douglas Channel, S of Kitimat). The river tumbles over a 10-m-high precipice about 200 m before it enters Kildala Arm. The Haisla First Nation name for the river is Cinis (pronounced TSEE-nees), meaning “falls.”
