Emmerson Point


Emmerson Point (54˚16'00" 130˚22'00" E side of Digby I, just W of Prince Rupert). Henry Robert Emmerson (1853–1914) was federal minister of Railways and Canals at the time Prince Rupert Hbr was surveyed in 1906. He was a native of NB and studied law at Boston Univ, graduating in 1877 and becoming an influential lawyer, businessman and politician in Moncton.
