Edwards Point


Edwards Point (52˚09'00" 128˚29'00" SW end of Athlone I, Milbanke Sd, W of Bella Bella). RCN officer John Crispo “Dutchie” Inglis Edwards, CBE (1896–1978), was born in NS and died at Sidney, BC. He graduated in the second class of the Royal Naval College of Canada in 1912, and his first command was HMCS Festubert in 1924.
