Eagle Bight


Eagle Bight (54˚32'03" 130˚15'40" E side of Work Channel, N of Prince Rupert). Capt John Costello Grave, in the HBC brigantine Eagle (along with Capt Aemilius Simpson in the Cadboro), helped determine the site for Ft Nass on the Nass R in 1830. The trading post, later renamed Ft Simpson, was established the following year by Simpson in the Cadboro.
