Burrard Inlet


Burrard Inlet (49˚18'00" 123˚12'00" Just N of Vancouver). Capt George Vancouver explored the inlet in 1792 and named it Burrard’s Channel after his friend Capt Sir Harry Burrard (1765–1840), who had served with him as a lt on HMS Europa in the W Indies in 1785.
