Buckley Head


Buckley Head (52˚29'00" 128˚17'00" NE of Dowager I, N of Bella Bella). Rev Arthur Buckley was an RN chaplain and instructor aboard HMS Scout, under Capt John Price, and served on the BC coast, 1865–68. He was later transferred to HMS Lord Warden on the Mediterranean Station. Lt Daniel Pender named the feature Buckley Point in 1867, but it was changed by the hydrographic service to Buckley Head in 1948.
