Breakenridge Point


Breakenridge Point (52˚31'00" 129˚02'00" N side of Weeteeam Bay, SW side of Aristazabal I). Sapper Archibald T Breakenridge was a surveyor and a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He was with Lt Henry Palmer’s party during an 1859 reconnaissance of the country between the N end of Harrison Lk and Four Mile House on the Lillooet R. Little else seems to be known about his life.
