Blenkinsop Islet (53˚17'00" 129˚19'00" NW of Gil I, Wright Sd, entrance to Douglas Channel, SW of Kitimat). Squadron Leader Edward “Teddy” Weyman Blenkinsop, DFC, Croix de Guerre (Belgium), died at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp on Jan 23, 1945, aged 24. He was born at Williams Lk and educated at Victoria as a chartered accountant.
