Bjerre Rock


Bjerre Rock (50˚18'00" 125˚19'00" Okisollo Channel, N of Quadra I and Campbell R), Bjerre Shoal (49˚34'00" 124˚02'00" E side of Malaspina Str, S of Pender Hbr, SE of Powell R). August Jorgen Bjerre (1864–1921) emigrated from Denmark about 1880 and became a master mariner and pilot on the BC coast. He married Ellen Pederson (1866–1945) at Vancouver in 1890.
