Birkby Point


Birkby Point (51˚18'00" 127˚35'00" NW side of Greaves I, Smith Sd, N of Port Hardy). Named by coastal mariner and historian John T Walbran in 1903 after the farm and homestead of Birkby Nab in Yorkshire, ancient abode of the Greaves family, who were ancestors of Walbran’s wife, Anne. Nearby Nab Patch is also named for this British locality. W
