Betton Rocks


Betton Rocks (53˚15'00" 129˚29'00" SE side of Pitt I). Roderick Betton, a native of Glasgow, born about 1766, was a sailmaker’s mate aboard HMS Discovery during Capt George Vancouver’s 18th-century exploration of the PNW coast. The name was adopted by the hydrographic service in 1950.
